The latest Citroen advert --in which the motor-car transforms itself
into a robot which starts to jive and jitterbug to some pop music in the
background -- seems to make little or no sense whatever. The lyrics of
the (alleged) music itself seem to have no meaning, as someone just
keeps repeating the phrase:

"Check the go-shack for Bangla gays..."

Does that refer to illegal immigrants and, if so, why should it specify
only homosexualists?

A good 3D animation rather spoilt by the lack-lustre way the robot converts
back into the car.

Didn't notice the lyrics though.

I asked my boyfriend about this as hes more tecknical about things like
cars and he sai hed seen the advert and that you need to wash your ears
out becoze you did'nt hear it right. What they is saying is to check
the go-shaft for bungler days, the go-shaft is part of the transmition
right? And some days like fridays they bungel the fitting of it so it
goes in backwards and the car vibrates so much it allmost stands up
like it shows on the addvert. It has nothing to do with ilegle
imigrants or homesexuals but I wonder what was going through your
mind when you heard it!!!!!

Wrong again.

And it doesn't say "Jack your body" either.

It's not English, but southern European Gobbledegook, as spoken
by goblins from the south of France and Switzerland through to
the Balkans. What it really says is:

I think they used samples from the old "Steve 'silk' Hurley" track
"Jack Your Body", or whatever source that track used.
