Frog down the throat
You can't seem to switch on ITV or Sky these days without coming
across the Jamsters Ring Tones Ads. This aggressive campaign must be
costing them a fortune and I can't help feeling may have a negative
effect by the overkill frequency of the ads.
The frog I assume, is supposed to be wacky, but it comes over as just
grotesque. And that 'Sweety the chick' thing gives me the creeps. These
seem to have been made by people who can't remember what it was like to
be a child and I guess that attitude is probably the selling point.
It's urban and streetwise and it's like cute and wacky viewed through a
drug induced hallucination.
I know I'm not their target audience, for I find little to interest me
in how a phone rings, and even if you don't agree with my opinion on
their creations, I do think they overdone it with the Ads.
